It all started with a simple tea bag.
Over a cuppa masala chai in the hot summer Delhi heat, two ‘tea-totaller’ friends concocted & brewed the Masala Tee concept:
An uber cool tee-shirt concept brewed, frothed, spiced, sweetened & sparkled in India for the world. A delicious tee bag that will provide a cool & comfy respite from the summer heat, made only with the finest ingredients.
Perfect to the Tee.
The two friends officially set up their tee company calling themselves Tee Wallah etc. (Read: in India, the suffix -wala (or -wallah), indicates a person involved in some kind of activity; for example auto-wallah, a taxi driver and chai-wallah, a boy or young man who serves tea.)
And the Masala Tee Wallahs started to set about concocting their Masala Tee potion:
First, lay out the soft & comfy 100% ‘green’ organic cotton. Then blend with delicious face prints named Divya, Pia, Sapna, Sitara & Maya. Add in 3 delightful colors & flavors: Pepper Masala (grey), Mustard Masala, Spicy Masala (fushia). Encrust the tees with sparkling Swarovski stones. Serve with a special jeweled gift for customers : a pair of earrings.
All the finest ingredients above are then added into a cool Masala Tee bag.
And voila.
You have the cool, sparkling & spicy Masala Tee. Wear it piping hot or uber cool.
Pass the Masala Tee around. Masala Tee is for Humani-tee. A certain percentage of sales proceeds will go to selected humanitarian organisations in India.
